About Our Staff
My name is Erika Ware. I am a licensed psychotherapist in Georgia, Missouri, and Texas that provides individual, couple, and group therapy sessions. My clients will walk away with the confidence of knowing how to navigate through challenging times in life and feel ready to face them head on because of having the necessary tools to cope.
I am currently a wife and mother of three beautiful children which allows me to understand how family life and roles play a part in mental and emotional healing. I am able to connect with individuals and couples in a way that allows me to recognize how they are feeling in the present moment and how past experiences have impacted current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
Much of the training I have received is in treating trauma so I understand that the experiences from trauma can interfere with numerous aspects of life including but not limited to family and romantic relationships, work, and social life. My goal is to assist clients in healing from past traumatic experiences so that they can move forward and create a new sense of self and continue on with their life’s purpose.
My office provides a welcoming, confidential, safe environment and promotes holistic psychotherapy with clients. I believe that mental health has a great impact on physical well-being and I try to assist clients in both aspects of life. My favorite thing is to see my clients grow and develop new forms of thinking.

Hello! My name is Dasia Johnson and I am a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor and will be working under the supervision of the lead psychotherapist Erika Ware.
My therapeutic approach is centered into feeling whole— understanding that our physical, mental, and emotional states’ all work together collectively. My goal is to provide the genuine support you need to be the healthiest version of yourself in whatever season you are in, using the skills you don’t know you already have and the skills you’re intentionally willing to develop. I assist clients with understanding what they are feeling, and collaboratively educating you on how to take control of those feelings. Once you train YOUR mind how to think, respond, and cope in any given situation your lifestyle steadily shifts in a positive direction.
I use an evidence-based, humanistic, and eclectic approach and truly believe a genuine client-therapist rapport serves an essential role for your healing process and care. I tailor my practice to each client, intending to unpack the root causes of the presented concerns.
I provide services to youth, young adults and adults who are facing challenges with culture or identity, intrapersonal and/or interpersonal relationships, trauma, anxiety or depression, and any other stressors affecting your daily living.
To schedule an appointment please reach out to info@balmme.com. I look forward to helping you cultivate a healthier, empowered and intentional version of yourself.
Accepted insurances include Aetna and Cigna. I am also available for sliding scale fees and private pay options.
